Young Voices

A Sky Full of Stars. 

A group of year 4, 5, and 6 children from Duddon and Barrow and some very lucky teaching staff attended the Young Voices Choir event on Wednesday. It was incredible!  The children had a fantastic time joining with 8,000 other children from across the North West to sing, dance and sign a variety of songs and watch a wide collection of  dancers and musicians. The afternoon was spent rehearsing together with the live performers and learning new routines for the evening performance. Parents  joined us for the main event at 7pm and the arena was literally electric, illuminated by torches and the young voices of all those enthusiastic, inspiring children joining together in harmony. A huge thank you to Mrs Tench for organising. I am sure it is something that will stay with the children ( and adults) for a very long time.
