Woodland planting
Date: 8th Mar 2017 @ 8:27pm
Some of the children in Class Four volunteered to use their lunchtime to help begin some of the planting in our woodland area, which has been funded by the PTA.
This week they have been planting wild roses in the hedgerows, wild honeysuckle and clematis, as well as snowdrops, English bluebells, wood anemones, wild garlic, cyclamen and wild tulips.
We hope that as this planting establishes itself, the plants will multiply and spread, and make the woodland area both beautiful to walk through, and provide a wonderful study area to learn about British wildflowers and plants.
