Week ending 8.3.19
Date: 8th Mar 2019 @ 1:44pm
This week has been really busy! At the start of the week we changes our role play area into a potting shed and garden centre. We are having a lot of fun planting flowers and magic beans.
We are working hard on pattern making and have made repeating patterns with all sorts of different resources. We also went outside to find repeating patterns in our environment.
We have continued with our Jack and the Beanstalk work and have talked about what we would like to find at the top of a Beanstalk - our writing is on the wall. We have also manipulated paper to make beanstalks. We have curled, folded and twisted the paper.
On Tuesday we made pancakes - everyone had a go at flipping their own pancake! They were delicious!
On World Book Day we enjoyed sharing our stories and story props - thank you for coming to share stories with us. We also share different stories with Year 6.
Today our new playground equipment has been fitted - it looks amazing and we’re really looking forward to using it next week.
