Week ending 7.6.24

This week we have started to construct some new role play areas. Outside we are building a cafe and inside we are constructing a supermarket. We have been busy writing menus and making posters. We have also made some packets of biscuits, cereal and lots of other things for the supermarket - photos to follow when they're finished.

We have a mistle thrush nesting in the tree in our garden, as a result we have been finding out about where birds live, how they make their nests and how they look after their babies. We went outside and made a huge nest we could all fit in, then we pretended to be eggs, baby birds hatching and baby birds learning to fly. It was a lot of fun and there wiill be photos added next week.
