Week ending 30.11.18

This week we have done lots of work about The Naughty Bus. We started by playing with the parachute and hiding under it with torches to talk about what the Naughty Night Bus might do. We talked about nocturnal animals and people who work at night before writing our story ideas down.

The Naughty Bus falls into the pond and this week we have investigated floating and sinking. We put our bus in the water to see what happened and then experimented with lots of different objects to see which would float and sink. We also discussed why we thought things floated or sank.

We had a lot of fun with baked beans - just like the bus. We made tracks in the beans with trucks and also used our fingers to make patterns, letters and numbers.
