Week ending 28.5.21

This week we have read The Hungry Caterpillar and have found out about caterpillars and butterflies. We have made The Hungry Caterpillar cafe in our classroom and have had fun playing in it. In the woods we made symmetrical butterflies with flowers, grass and sticks. We have made symmetrical butterflies in our classroom too with loose parts play. We have investigated printing and used potato mashers to make hungry caterpillars! 

We have all worked hard on our numbers. Reception have continued to work on doubling and we all did some number work in the garden in the sunshine. 

We have all written a list of things we’d eat if we were a hungry caterpillar - there was a lot of delicious food!
