Week ending 23.10.20
Date: 23rd Oct 2020 @ 1:22pm
This week we have read Peace at Last by Jill Murphy. We made some shakers to accompany the story and used our ears to listen carefully to the sounds around us. We counted drum beats and matched the numerals.
We carried on talking about the senses and used our fingers to touch different objects in a freely bag. We used some really good descriptive words to explain how they felt. We also investigated our finger prints.
We used our eyes to play Kim’s Game - it was tricky to spot what was missing!
At Forest School we made leaf kebabs and toasted marshmallows - yum! We counted how many autumn leaves we collected on our sticks to see who had the most.
Reception have worked on h b f ff l ll ss in phonics. We made hairy hats on Monday! Nursery have been listening to rhyming stories.
