Week ending 22.9.23

This week we started talking about Autumn. We played with some conkers and drilled holes in them with a hand drill. We found out about the spiders that are scuttling into our houses to keep warm and making big webs in our garden. We made webs using sticks that we collected in the woods and made conker spiders. 
Reception have worked hard on their letter formation and we practiced outside on some huge pieces of paper. Nursery painted patterns with big paint brushes to work on their gross and fine motor skills. 
Last week we used chalk pastels to do some observational drawings of the sunflowers in our garden. They are beautiful.
