Week ending 22.3.24

This week has been a busy one learning about 3D shape and starting some pattern work. We have also worked on our counting, number recognition and recording skills. We enjoyed playing maths games with the Year Sixes on Maths Day on Tuesday. 

We used puppets to re-tell the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff - everyone was great at using different voices for the characters and the language from the story.

At the start of the week we planted some seeds. We planted a mix of flower and vegetable seeds which will grow in our garden when the plants are big enough. We have planted pumpkins, courgettes, tomatoes, nasturtiums, sunflowers, peas and beans. It will be exciting to see what grows!
