Week ending 18.1.19

This week we have done lots of counting and addition work. Reception have worked practically and have also recorded their addition number sentences. Nursery have used lots of different counters.

On Thursday we made bird feeders at Forest School and then hung them in our garden. We used pine cones and put lard, peanut butter and bird seed all over the cones. This morning we have seen birds in our garden eating the seeds on the feeders.

We have talked about characters in fairy stories and drew characters we read about in Sleeping Beauty. Our lovely pictures are on the front of Treetops.
