Week ending 17th September

We started this week by picking apples in our orchard. We had to stretch really tall to twist the apples off the trees. We tried the different types of apples for snack and talked about which ones tasted sweet. 

On Tuesday we made apple pies with the apples we had picked on Monday. Mrs Knight modelled how to make pastry and then our job was to roll the pastry, use a cutter and fill the pies with apples. They  looked delicious ?

We have also talked about our favourite colours and rainbows. We have talked about what different colours remind us of and are going to do some colour mixing next week.
