Week ending 14.5.21

This week we have found out about ladybirds. We found out some great facts and had fun hunting for ladybirds in the woods - we only found 2! We painted some ladybirds on tiny butterbeans. We were so careful!

Reception have worked hard all week on their numbers and number bonds to 10. Nursery have also worked on their numbers and one to one counting.

We have all worked on speaking and listening. We played a describing game and had to describe a cake and then our friends had to listen carefully and say which cake we liked best. We had lots of delicious cake pictures to choose from. In the afternoon we did some sensory play in some sticky icing. The icing had sprinkles in it so it felt bumpy. Reception had a go at writing their letters in the icing and we all used great words to describe how it felt.
