Week ending 14.6.19

What a wet and soggy week! We have splashed in puddles and mixed paint in puddles outside!

This week our focus has been The Snail and the Whale. We have talked about the places the snail travels to and discussed if we would like to go there on holiday. We talked about hot places and cold places. For our display we have painted a snail and a whale. To make lovely flowers and waves we have worked on colour mixing and learnt that we mix red and yellow to make orange and to make pale blue we mix blue and white. 

We have worked on number recognition and counting. Reception have worked on making 10 with different numbers and Nursery have worked on making 5.
