Week ending 13th October

At the start of the week we visited Adam in church to find out about what he does and what he wears. We learnt about his clothes and Adam told us about the different stoles he wears for different occasions. When we came back to Treetops we drew a big picture of Adam and wrote about what we had learnt. There is a lovely display on the wall in Treetops.
Yesterday we made boats using junk from our junk box. We had to think about how they would float and if they needed a mast and sail. Once everyone had made a boat, we floated them in the water tray with 5 passengers. We also pretended to be the wind and blew the sails to see how the wind makes things move. We had a lot of fun!
