Week ending 12.7.19

Thank you to everyone who came to our Sports Day in the hall this morning. We had a great time and the children did really well especially because we had to change all our races because of the weather!

In the woods we looked at all the different leaves and collected some to make a leaf kebab. We put the leaf kebabs by the trees to make delicious dinners for all of the caterpillars, baby ladybirds and bugs.

We have started to plan our picnic this week and read The Lighthouse Keepers Picnic to give us some ideas. We learnt how to make flapjack and Reception wrote some amazing instructions so that I could make some at home!
