week ending 11/11/16

What a busy week! We started on Monday by talking about fireworks - we had all seen some lovely sparkly ones at the weekend. We made our own firework pictures. They are on the outside of Treetops.

This week we have started to find out about different types of transport. We have looked at different types of boats and talked about boats we have been on. We have investigated floating & sinking and are making our own boat in Treetops! We have read & sung the rhyme Row Row Row your Boat and painted our own pictures of different things we might see on our boat.

We have worked hard on our pattern making and letter formation and have done lots of counting and number work.

Today we had a quiet time & talked about poppies and remembering. We made poppies before the holiday - they are on the wall in school.
