Week ending 11.1.19

We have started working on our new topic of Fairy Stories this week. We started reading Sleeping Beauty and have built a castle in our role play area. We have talked, played and written about the story. I was really impressed with everyone’s writing! In the woods we acted out the story too and pretended to be the knight chopping all our trees down! 

We have worked on our counting and number recognition and writing numerals.

Reception have focussed on sh, ch and th in phonics.
