week ending 10/2/17

This week we have carried on our measuring and worked on capacity. We have measured full, empty and half full. We estimated how many cupfuls of water would fit in a jug and then counted them really carefully. Reception used a tally system to help them count.

We have worked hard on our phonics. Receptiion have practised sh, ch, th and ng. We have all written about animals and used good words to describe them.

Of course we have had more pets to visit! Kourtney's dog Deebo and Lexi's dog Alfie.
