Week ending 10.7.20

This week we have done a lot of work! We have read Rapunzel and written some sentences about the story. Both inside and outside we have built towers and counted to see who has the tallest. We used a timer too and had a competition to see who could build the biggest tower in 30 seconds. We had to be very careful! We have used non standard units to measure objects in Treetops. 

We have learnt about castles and their features. We drew some fantastic  pictures of castles and also made some portcullises. We used salt dough to make Rapunzel’s tower and talked about which shapes made the tower. 

Alongside all of the Rapunzel work we have also worked hard on our phonics and numbers. I think it’s a good job it’s Friday! We all need a rest!
