Visit to Nantwich
Date: 15th Feb 2018 @ 9:14pm
We had a great time today on our visit to Nantwich Museum. It was a beautiful sunny (and very cold!) day, but undeterred, our groups walked around the town, led by museum experts, to look at the development of the town with particular reference to Tudor times and Tudor buildings.
One group remained in the museum, handling artefacts, discussing life in Tudor times and taking the opportunity to dress in Tudor costumes, while the other group was outside.
At the end of the afternoon, the whole class learned about Tudor medicines, and used some special herbs to make their own soap balls to take home.
They behaved brilliantly, and I am glad to say that they were able to share their previous learning with the museum staff, who were duly impressed.
