Treetops week ending 5.5.23

This week we have done lots of worked linked to the coronation. On Tuesday we had a Stay and Play. We made Union Jack biscuits, guard pegs and used the peg boards to make Union Jack flags. 
We have made crowns for our celebrations on Friday and today we had our own coronation in church. 
Adam crowned King Dylan and Queen Cleo. We learnt about the orb and sceptre and listened to some special coronation music. When we went back into Treetops we had special red, white and blue cakes for snack that we had made earlier in the week. We also used the thrones, crowns and robes to role play coronations.
