Treetops week ending 2.2.24
Date: 2nd Feb 2024 @ 9:33am
We have had a very quiet week as lots of children have been off with chicken pox!
We have continued working on Little Red Riding Hood and have thought of lots of words to describe the characters in the story. We have also written sentences and speech bubbles. Today we're going to make a trap for the wolf! We have also made maps of the story.
We have worked on odd and even numbers, pairs and done lots of counting work.
We have started doing some sewing, using the skills we have practiced weaving on some binca.
We followed on our work about the animals we share school with last week by going worm charming. We made lots of noise and jumped and stamped to make the worms come out of the ground. We found lots of worms for our animal neighbours! It was very exciting!
