Performance poetry

This afternoon, while Year Six were off visiting Tarporley High School, children in Class Three and the Year Five children from Class Four got together and had fun reading a variety of different poems.

In groups, they worked together  practising the poems, learning in some cases to recite them by heart, and then adding expression and actions so that they could perform them to an audience.

Year Six returned, just as they were ready to perform, and they provided a receptive audience to appreciate their performance poems.
