Our first week

It has been a pleasure to meet our new class this week, and especially its newest members, who have been warmly welcomed.  We have been getting down to work, studying number and plave value in Maths, writing some exciting poems in Literacy and enjoying getting on with our sunflower pictures in Art (look our for those soon when we put them on display!)

Everyone seems to have enjoyed their first few days back at school and Year Five are cerainly settling into new routines and expectations. It is going to be a great class and we look forward to an enjoyable term, with our residential trip and other exciting things planned.
