Nursery and Reception week ending 8.3.24

We have read and re told Jack and the Beanstalk this week. We have written some sentences about Jack's adventures and used the puppets to tell the story.

We had fun looking at maps and finding roads, rivers, houses and all sorts of other things. We managed to find Duddon and had a go at drawing our own maps.

Thursday was World Book Day. We all dressed up as our favourite book characters and brought in our favourite stories. We made bookmarks for our mummies for Mothers Day to go with the beautiful cards we have made. We had a fun scavenger hunt outside in the garden. We had a check sheet and had to find lots of story props and talk about what story they were from. We also made up our own stories using a range of props. Miss Studley recorded the stories and we loved watching them on the board. We also had a lovely morning sharing stories with our parents and the year fives.
