Nursery and Reception week ending 1.3.24

When we went to the woods this week, we did lots of measuring. We collected lots of different sized sticks and sorted them into groups of size. Everyone chose 6 sticks and put them into size order. Then Nursery, and some Reception, had lots of fun finding sticks that were longer and shorter than our wellies. Reception used non standard units to measure the sticks and counted really carefully.

We have made a garden centre role play in our classroom and have lots of fun playing in there.
