New Term Update from the Chair
Date: 24th Jan 2016 @ 11:02pm
It's great to see that the children are back having swimming lessons after what I believe is nigh on 20 years. My own children, and those I have spoken to in school seem to be thoroughly enjoying them.
I am also delighted with the popularity of the Gruffalo reading scheme that we have been running in Treetops. It's broadly similar to the one we ran last year in school but more targeted to our younger children. The great news is that participation is high so our children are doing plenty of reading! If your child has now completed the Gruffalo award, please be patient. We are waiting until a good proportion of them have finished and will arrange a presentation morning at church.
Finally, don't forget the Governor 'surgery' tomorrow. Myself and John Davies (also a parent governor) will be available in the school hall from 3:15 to discuss any issues you want to raise. We are particularly keen to hear about homework. We look forward to seeing you.
