Musical instruments

This week, linking with the visit by Key Strings, we have been drawing musical instruments and using a resist technique with oil pastels and inks to create pictures. They form a display in the hall. After drawing their outlines in pencil, they used large black felt tip pens for the outline, used acrylic paint to accentuate the outlines, oil pastels to colour the picture, and layered inks over the top, for a resist technique.
