Liverpool Philharmonic

This morning, Classes Three and Four made a trip to Liverpool to listen to the Philharmonic Orchestra at their Schools Conert.  Joining many other pupils from across the region, they were entertained by a variety of pieces under the title 'Sound Values'.

Before they went, they learned about the orchestra, about instrument families and some of the background of the composers and pieces of music which they were going to hear.

Once again, it was a fantastic experience which everyone enjoyed, children and adults alike. Thanks to Mrs Gregory, one of our governors, who accompanied us on the trip.
