Leavers' Service

Year Six children acquitted themselves very well in the Leavers' Service in St. Peter's Church this morning.  They focused on their memories of Duddon, on what they had enjoyed in their time there and their hopes for the future as they move on to their new schools.  They certainly shone and showed their confidence and abilities and it was lovely to share the service witheir families, many of whom have been with the school for such a long time. Thank you also to those children who exhibited their musical talents on a variety of instruments.

I should like to express a personal thank you to the children for the time I have shared with them this year and with their parents, who have become friends along the way.  I shall miss them all.
