Ironbridge trip
Date: 20th Sep 2019 @ 8:27pm
Class Four had an amzing time on their trip to Ironbridge this week. It was a really busy three days, during which they designed and glazed their own tile (these will be sent on to us after they have been fired in the kiln).
On Thursday, we spent the whole day at Blists Hill Victorian town, visiting the bank, the shops and the industrial workshops, to see how Victorians would have lived. On Friday, we visited the Iron Bridge iteself, which they found quite amazing.
There was lots of information gathered and many questions asked. The children were really well behaved whilst we were out and about, and the staff at the youth hostel were also very impressed with them.
They thoroughly enjoyed their time together, and for some, the challenge of being away from home was a really good character building experience.
Thank yousfor lending us your children to have such a good time with!
