Holding cross

As part of our RE study this term (A-cross the world), we are looking at the symbolism of the cross and the many different forms that crosses can take around the world.

The children learned about the 'Holding cross' and shaped their own out of air drying modelling clay. Later, they will paint them to look like wooden crosses.
