Fossil making

Date: 2nd Feb 2020 @ 9:40am

As part of our science work on Evolution and Inheritance, this week everyone had a go at making thier own model of a fossil.

Using air drying clay, they moulded a 'rock' and then either made an imprint fossil of a plant or creature, or made the skeletonised version of a fossil.

It was good fun and helped them to understand how the fossils could be found inside a rock.
