Farming focus

Fitting in with Farming Fortnight and our theme of food for the world, Parent Governor Andy Jackson came in to school this morning and managed the mammoth task of talking to all the classes in school in the morning. Through his company, he also arranged an exciting visit by a huge farm feed delivery truck, which the children were all allowed to climb onto and examine. 

After an assembly with everyone, Andy talked to groups of children all across the school and generated some fantastic questions from the children.

A big thank you to him (and the truck driver) for taking the time to come into school and inspire the children.
