Over the last few weeks in DT, we have been creating canvas tote bags.  This has involved many different steps including; researching different styles of bags, designing our own bags, creating patterns, creating prototypes, hand stitching our design to the front of our bag, using a sewing machine to sew up the sides and evaluating our work!

Mrs Tenches mum and aunt have been in to help us with using the sewing machine - we have really enjoyed doing this.  Have a look at some of our finished bags below.
