Dance session

During this term Class Four are doing dance sessions as part of their PE.  This week we were developing dance movements to Jeff Wayne's 'The War of the Worlds' music - very dramatic, with lots of changes of tempo.

The children work as half a class while the other half does their PE session outside.  This allows more space in the hall to get creative!

After individually exploring balances this week, the children worked with a partner to develop a sequence of moves, which had to include a change of tempo, with some stationary sections, and three different balances.  There were some very impressive performances.
