Class Four - Trip to the Zoo!

Hooray! We finally got to go out on a school trip after an incredibly long time. When we studied the Rainforest topic in the spring term, I would have taken the class to the zoo, apart from it being closed because of Covid! I promised them that if I could arrange it when the Zoo re-opened, we would go.

We had a wonderful day - incredibly sunny weather, lots of wonderful animals to see and the children were amazing. No complaints about the heat, the amount of walking, what time lunch was going to be - they just thoroughly enjoyed themselves. What a shame they have sadly missed other such events over the last year or so. Thank you to all the parents who gave us lifts.
