Class Four - Week ending 4th December
Date: 4th Dec 2020 @ 6:27pm
This week has definitely whizzed by very quickly. I have been very impressed with the presentations which were given by the children to the class. Their subjects were very varied, from Finland, to jellyfish to Rubik's cubes. They were all fascinating in different ways and everyone had lots of questions afterwards. It was great to see such confidence developing in speaking in front of an audience,
A sizeable chunk of the week has been spent in preparation for their class Christmas concert next week - at last we have been singing, which is joyous to hear after so long. We are practising songs, dances, poetry and music, as well as a few surprises, in our determination to let the children enjoy the usual Christmas activities, even though sadly, parents will not be able to attend. We very much miss the social contact with parents, but hopefully things will change in the New Year.
We have also been finishing our Egyptian death mask, making snowflakes for the concert backdrop and preparing some things for their class Christmas Fair. I hope that you are enjoying reading the poems in our school poetry book, which is selling well.
