Class Four - end of Week 14

The end of yet another week, and one which has been busy and very hot!  It was lovely to welcome back another couple of Year Six and they have all been working pretty hard on the book we are reading.  I have also been really impressed with the work that I have been receiving from some of Year Five, who have been reading alongside us and completing the same work at home. We all struggled to get back into writing mode, but this week has seen some writing returning to the standard we were previously working at. 

We have managed some sporting activities this afternoon, even despite the heat and Year Six have begun to work on some ideas to share as they look towards their last weeks with us.  I am really looking forward to the time I will be able to spend with Year Five, as we have an 'extra' week in school together, as they think about moving into Year Six in September.
