Class 3 Week Ending 14th May
Date: 14th May 2021 @ 10:20am
We have had another busy week in Class 3 with lots of exciting learning taking place.
In maths we have explored how to multiply 3 single digit numbers and now we are looking at factors of numbers. As usual we are constantly practising and using our times tables so we can become whizzes at these. Some of us this week have managed to get 144 out of 144 in our times tables task - what and achievement! Others are getting closer and closer to that score each week.
We are thoroughly enjoying our class book 'Cogheart.' We have started thinking that Madame Verdigris is definitely up to something. In our literacy lessons, we have been focusing on Lily and how she is feeling about the strange events. The children are doing a great job at getting into the character of Lily.
Science was a bit of a wash out (thanks to the rain!) We were meant to be pond dipping, but unfortunately it threw it down. We are going to try again next week and I'll post some pictures on here for you all to see.
Our perspective art topic is going really well. Some of the work produced by the children in exceptional and everyone is so enthusiastic about their work. Hopefully, I can get some examples on here really soon.
I have received some great homework. The Haiku's I have read are wonderful and the decorated pots are really brightening up the classroom.
Have a great weekend
