Children in Need

Class Four started off our Children in Need day this morning by conducting the assembly.  All the class took part, and explained what the purpose of the charity is, and how the money which is raised is given to good causes which help children. They really enjoyed planning and taking part in it.

This afternoon they took part in their fun run to raise some money.  It was a very cold afternoon but they were brilliant, all showing great determination to complete as many laps of our school field as they could manage. The cold and rain eventually stopped the run, but they all did so well, really challenging themselves to do their best.

Thanks also to Nancy and Charlotte, who, for the second year, organised a cake sale in aid of Pudsey.  They raised a fantastic £76.95.  Well done to them, their mums and all those who baked cakes etc to help them.  A very big thank you to them all.
