Chester Cathedral

Today Year Six visited Chester Cathedral to attend the Diocesan Leavers' Service. Many of the children had not been in the cathedral before, so found it an amazing place. The building was full with children from other church schools, and the service consisted of music and singing to celebrate the children and their lives at their respective primary schools.
Our children had been invited to sing the backing to one of the songs, and did this brilliantly in front of the whole congregation. They also made and carried a banner to respond to their lives in school. It was a lovely morning to share together.
