Boomwhackers

We had some good fun on Thursday afternoon as we began our music unit for the term.  The lesson covered musical terms and notation as a beginning to thinking about playing tunes using our new class set of boomwhackers, which will allow us to play as a class all together.  Boomwhackers are plastic tubes which are musically tuned and colour coded to help children develop understanding of how to play.

This week, we only got as far as the first line of Twinkle, twinkle little star but more will be added next week!
