World Book Day

We had a great time celebrating World Book Day. Lots of children, and teachers,  dressed up as book characters and we all brought our favourite books to school to share. During the morning we shared our stories with parents and relatives and other friends in school - for example Year 5 shared stories with Nursery and Reception - it was so lovely to share stories together. 
We are having a competition to decorate a wooden spoon as a book character- there are some amazing spoons in school!  
Throughout the day different classes celebrated books in lots of ways including making bookmarks, Nursery and Reception went on a story scavenger hunt, writing book reviews and telling end writing stories.
