Week ending 25.5.18

Date: 25th May 2018 @ 1:50pm

This week we have worked on our number and letter formation. We have really tried hard to remember where to start and which way round our letters go.

We have listened to some orchestral and clarinet music. Mrs Knight brought in her clarinet and played us some music. We talked about how the sound changes and how the instrument works. We have drawn the clarinet, looking really carefully at the shape and keys.

We talked some more about butterflies and write butterfly facts for the wall outside Treetops.

In the woods on Thursday we found out about woodlice and made our own out of clay and sticks. We also made ourselves into woodlice and counted in 2s - they have 14 legs! We watched a Great Tit fly in and out of the bird box with grubs in it’s mouth for it’s babies. We were fascinated!
