Week ending 1.2.19

Date: 31st Jan 2019 @ 8:22pm

This week we have done a lot of counting and number work. Amongst other aspects we have worked on more and less, Reception children working on 1 and 2 more or less. Reception have also worked hard to form their numerals correctly.

We have continued working on our fairy tale topic and have designed a character puppet. We talked about fairy tale characters and are going to transform wooden spoons into our favourite characters. Watch this space for photos!

We have made the most of the snow and cold frosty weather. Today we went outside and looked at the frosty trees. We took our gloves off and felt the frost which was a little bit prickly. We also tried to melt it. We had fun making footprints in the snow and also made hand prints which was really chilly! When we came back in we drew some frosty trees - they are on the wall in the cloakroom.
