Collective Worship with Mrs Gregory

We were so pleased to welcome Mrs Gregory, one of our Foundation Governors, to our Collective Worship this morning.  She had offered to come in and hold an assembly on the theme of 'The Good Samaritan'.  

After singing our hymn together, Mrs Gregory told the children the story from the Bible, and discussed what a 'good samaritan' is, and how we can help our 'neighbours'.  The children were fascinated by the connection Mrs Gregory made to her former career as a nurse, and being a samaritan, especially when she showed them her special medal and statue.

We concluded with singing The Lord's Prayer.  Thank you so much, Mrs Gregory, for spending your time with us.
