Police talk

Class Four experienced a really interesting and informative talk this morning by PC Rhys Matthews, who came in class to help their understanding of some of the dangers of drug abuse.

He was impressed by their fantastic behaviour, their knowledge and ideas, as well as the multitude of questions which they were very keen to ask.

The discussion included understanding about the use of legal drugs, such as medicines, and those present in food and drink - caffeine and alcohol, as well as touching on the dangers of illegal drugs.  He was able to convey to them the importance of being strong enough to resist peer pressure, and helped them to understand the consequences of taking banned substances.
