William Morris

Everyone in Class Four has been studying the work of Victorian William Morris this term, as part of our Victorian topic.  Morris designed wallpaper, tiles, textiles, stained glass and architecture.  They looked at the organic elements of his work, which was inspiredby nature, developing sketches and their own designs.

During the process, they had to consider proportion, scale and symmetry, as well as examining the shades and colours that Morris used.

Some of their designs are now on display in the hall, and a few are shown below.
