Week ending 8.11.19

Date: 8th Nov 2019 @ 1:34pm

We have learnt about lots of different things this week. On Tuesday we started by talking about our holiday and all the lovely fireworks we had seen. We made our own super sparkly firework pictures.

We have talked about poppies and why we have them. We learnt about why we have red poppies and also about the purple poppies that people sometimes wear. We have made a lovely poppy wreath and have also painted some stones to make a poppy in the sensory garden with the rest of school.

We used some chalk pastels to do observational drawings of lovely autumn leaves. They are on the front of our building, we looked really carefully at the leaves as we drew them.

We have turned our role play area into a vets - we have had fun looking after poorly animals.

We have also carried on with reading, phonics, weighing and numbers. What a busy week!
